The Argentine National Team debuts against Canada in the 2024 Copa América. Everything you need to know about the match.

The Argentine National Team left the preparatory friendlies behind and is already focused on what will be its debut in the Copa América 2024 against Canada in Group A. This Thursday, June 20, starting at 9:00 p.m., the Albiceleste will face the Canadian team at the Mercedes Benz Stadium in Atlanta, with broadcast by Public TV, Tyc Sports and DirecTV.
On Saturday morning, Lionel Scaloni defined the list of those called up for the Copa América 2024, among which there were some surprises: Valentín Barco, Leonardo Balerdi and Ángel Correa were left out regarding the friendlies with Ecuador and Guatemala a few days ago. German Pezzella, Gonzalo Montiel, Lucas Martínez Quarta, Enzo Fernández, Guido Rodríguez, Exequiel Palacios and Julián Álvarezthe former River included.

Regarding the duel against Canada, Scaloni maintains a doubt in the midfield: Alexis MacAllister or Enzo Fernández to accompany Rodrigo De Paul and Leandro Paredes. Canada, for its part, still does not have a starting eleven that appears. They have just lost by a landslide against the Netherlands in a friendly and will seek to strike against the Albiceleste in a group that has it as a candidate to finish in last place (Chile and Peru are the other members of the area).

Argentina and Canada will face each other this Thursday, June 20 at 9:00 p.m. at the Mercedes Benz Stadium. The match will be broadcast by Tyc Sports and Public TV on open television and also by DirecTV exclusively, both on its TV signal and on the DirecTV GO platform.
