This afternoon the death of the American was confirmed Nancy Mackenzieone of the most famous and recognized Latin dubbing actresses in the world, and who gave voice – for Latin America – to none other than Marge Simpson, Homer’s wife in the popular series The Simpsons. She was 81 years old.

The news was announced by Claudia Motta, the voice actress who voiced Bart Simpson. “It is with deep sorrow that we announce to the Simpson daughters (Lisa and Bart) the passing of our beloved mother Marge Simpson (Nancy Mckenzie). She rest in peace, we will never forget you”he wrote on his networks, also tagging Patricia Acevedo, actress who voices Lisa Simpson.

Likewise, the renowned actor Humberto Vélez, the voice of Homer, also reacted: “Many hours together, working, traveling. A lifetime. Your departure hurts me a lot, but I celebrate your way of enjoying, of being free, of living life to the fullest.. Nancy Mackenzie played Marge Simpson during the first 15 seasons of The Simpsons. She also counts among her extensive career roles such as Clarabella (Disney), Winifred Sanderson (Hocus Pocus), Trinity (The Matrix and The Matrix Reloaded) and Sailor Galaxia (Sailor Moon). The cause of her death has not been confirmed so far.
