Some local businesses have stepped in with offers of food or other assistance to those affected by the Point Fire near Lake Sonoma.

Here is a partial list of those organizations or companies that offer help:

This local pizzeria across from Guerneville Square is offering food to those forced to evacuate due to the Point Fire.

Owner Suzy Kuhr said her store is just down the street from Laguna High School, where a temporary evacuation site has been set up.

Non-evacuees are invited to purchase food for evacuees by calling the pizzeria and paying for it.

Anytime Fitness Cloverdale

Anytime Fitness in Cloverdale opened its showers, air-conditioned gym and made its Wi-Fi available to first responders and evacuees free of charge during staff hours.

“We can’t offer much more than a shower and a workout, which can be a great mental break during stressful times,” the gym posted on its Facebook page. “So, during staff hours, stop by the air-conditioned fitness center to use our Wi-Fi, work out, and/or take a shower.”

Where to find N95 masks

Hope Crisis Response Network has donated about 2,500 N95 masks and Community Organizations Active in Disasters (COAD) of Sonoma County are distributing them for delivery to local nonprofit members. Nonprofits with N95 masks are listed below.
