A violent accident that occurred on Monday afternoon left two people hospitalized after a motorcycle was hit by a vehicle while trying to enter the parking lot of a Gaiman supermarket. The incident was captured on a security camera, showing the severity of the crash.

Accident details

The accident occurred on Güemes Street, between Avenida Los Productosres and Dames, in Gaiman. According to police sources, the driver of a Peugeot Partner, a 45-year-old man, tried to turn into the supermarket parking lot when he collided with a Zanella 110 cc motorcycle.

Injuries and emergency response

A 40-year-old woman and a 22-year-old young man were traveling on board the motorcycle. Both were rushed to the local hospital. The young man, who was unconscious after the impact, and the woman, who suffered severe pain in her body, received immediate medical attention.

Intervention of authorities

Volunteer Firefighters and Criminalistics personnel quickly arrived at the scene of the accident. The teams carried out the necessary tasks to document the scene, including taking photographs and measurements to prepare a planimetric report.

The personnel of the Provincial Road Safety Agency (APSV) also appeared at the scene and performed a breathalyzer test on the driver of the Peugeot Partner, which returned a negative result with 0.0 g/L of blood alcohol.

Vehicle status

The motorcycle was completely destroyed due to the force of the impact. The images of the crash, although sensitive, show the magnitude of the accident and the material consequences it had.
