The Young Cultural Bonus is a direct aid of 400 euros to those who turn 18 during the year of publication of the call to acquire and enjoy cultural products and activities. More than 500,000 young people throughout Spain will be able to benefit from this aid, included in the General State Budgets for 2023, with an amount of 210 million euros.
The application period for people born in 2006 begins on the day June 17 and ends on September 16, 2024.

The objective is threefold: to offer those who turn 18 an economic boost to discover and enjoy culture, in all its disciplines; generate consumption habits of cultural products among youth; and thirdly, revitalize and energize the cultural sector in Spain, severely hit during the pandemic.
The Youth Cultural Bonus only works in participating entities.
The Young Cultural Bonus is a virtual prepaid card for mobile phones. If you do not have a telephone with payment technology, you can request your Cultural Voucher in physical format when making your request.
The card is personal and non-transferable, and will only work in participating businesses, companies and entities.
From the moment it is granted, you will be able to use the €400 during the following 12 months.
Remember: you will only be able to purchase the products included above described, and very importantly, you must always request a ticket with each purchase that you must upload to the Young Cultural Bonus app.

Requirements
Young people who turn 18 in 2024 and who have Spanish nationality or legal residence in Spain may be beneficiaries. Likewise, those who are asylum seekers in Spain may be beneficiaries; those who have requested temporary protection; and ex-tutored foreigners in the process of obtaining a legal residence permit in Spain.
Young people born in 2006 can apply for the 2024 Young Cultural Bonus starting today, June 17.
Endowment
What can it be spent on?
– 200 euros for live arts, cultural heritage and audiovisual arts. For example, tickets and passes for performing arts, live music, cinema, museums, libraries, exhibitions, scenic, literary, musical or audiovisual summer festivals and bullfighting shows.
– 100 euros for cultural products in physical format: books; magazines, press, or other periodical publications; video games, sheet music, records, CD, DVD or Blu-ray.
– 100 euros for digital or online consumption: subscriptions and rentals to musical, reading or audio-reading, or audiovisual platforms, purchase of audiobooks, purchase of digital books (e-books), subscription to download multimedia files (podcasts), subscriptions to online video games, digital subscriptions to press, magazines or other periodical publications.
