Finally we have had the long awaited NintendoDirect where a lot of surprises have been shown in terms of games that will arrive in the coming months, while we wait for the announcement of the successor to Nintendo Switchlet’s review everything shown:

  • Mario & Luigi: Brotherly Connection: To start with the surprises, the brothers return with a new RPG installment of the saga with a totally new design. It will be available on November 7.

  • Nintendo World Championship: NES Edition: a series of challenges and mini-games from NES classics in the style of the NES Remix. We will also have a battle royale mode. Available July 18.

  • FAIRY TAIL 2: a new game from the successful anime Fairy Tail, based on the Alvarez empire chapter. Available in winter.

  • FANTASIAN Neo Dimension: new game from the creator of Final Fantasy together with composer Nobuo Uematsu where we can trap enemies in a dimension to fight them later.

  • Nintendo Switch Sports: Basketball will be added in an update this summer for free.

  • MIO: Memories in Orbit: 2D metroidvania where we will have to explore a mysterious planet in which its inhabitants have become hostile. Available in 2025.

  • Disney Illusion Island: new update of the Disney game in which we will have to help solve a mystery. Available today.

  • Hello Kitty Island Adventure: an open world game in which we will have an island to explore in the purest Animal Crossing style. Available in 2025.

  • Looney Tunes: Wacky World of Sport: Like the Looney Tunes characters we have 4 sports (basketball, soccer, golf and tennis) to play with up to 4 friends. Available this fall.

  • Among Us: Free update that adds new roles for both crew member and imposter. Available today.

  • Pharmacy: a Marvelous game that mixes farming games with creature combat. Available November 1st.

  • Donkey Kong Country Returns HD: The originally Wii game returns to Switch. We will have 80 levels, including those from the 3D version, we can also play locally with another person. Available January 16, 2025.

  • Dragon Quest III HD-2D: With the graphic style of games like Octopath Traveler we will have this remake of Dragon Quest III that is the first chronologically in the Erdrick saga. Available November 14, 2024.
  • Dragpon Quest I & II HD-2D: It has also been announced that in 2025 we will have a remake in this same style of the first two games in the saga.

  • Funko Fusion: Funko dolls come together in this action and adventure game. We will have 60 characters to unlock and worlds from a lot of franchises such as Back to the Future, Five Nights At Freddy’s, Jurassic Park… Available on September 13.

  • Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD: They remind us that it arrives on Nintendo Switch on June 27.

  • THE NEW DENPA MEN: Free game mixing role-playing game with island management that will arrive as a temporary exclusive to Switch on July 22.

  • Metal Slug Attack Reloaded: Still without Metal Slug Tactics, SNK brings us this tower defense set in the world of Metal Slug and we will also have online battles. Available today.

  • Darkest Dungeon II: The sequel to Darkest Dungeon will arrive on Nintendo Switch on July 15.

  • Nintendo Switch Online: The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past Four Swords, Metroid: Zero Mission, Turok: Dinosaur Hunter and Perfect Dark with online multiplayer are available today on Switch Online.

  • Phantom Brave: The Lost Hero: new installment of the Phantom Brave saga where we will merge objects with the Phantoms that we find. Available in 2025.

  • Mavel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics: Seven arcade games return in this collection that includes: Marvel vs. Capcom, Marvel vs. Capcom 2, Marvel Super Heroes, X-Men: Children of the Atom, X-Men vs. Street Fighter, Marvel Super Heroes vs. Street Fighter and The Punisher. Available this year.

  • Super Mario Party Jamboree: the biggest Mario Party to date. Five new boards and two from Mario Party 1 and 2, more than 110 minigames, plus an online mode where up to 20 players compete. All this available on October 17.

  • The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom: one of the surprises of the event, a new game in the saga following the style of the Link’s Awakening remake where now the protagonist is Zelda. We will have the power to copy objects and enemies to use them in puzzles and combats that we will have during the adventure. Available September 26.

  • Just Dance 2025 Edition: a new game in the saga that will have 40 hits from artists like Ariana Grande, Sia, Green Day or Lady Gaga. Available in October.

  • LEGO Horizon Adventures: the world of Sony’s Horizon saga now with a LEGO appearance where we will visit locations from the original game in a new adventure that we can play cooperatively. Available in winter.

  • Stray: The famous game where we are a cat announces that it is finally coming to Switch this winter.

  • Tales of the Shire: A The Lord of the Rings Game: If you like farm management games and The Lord of the Rings, this is your game.

  • Ace Attorney Investigations Collection: collection of the two spin-offs starring Miles Edgeworth, the second game is the first time it leaves Japan and we can choose between new graphics or the original ones. Available September 6.

  • The Hundred Line -Last Defense Academy-: new game from the creators of Danganronpa where we will have to defend a school and survive for 100 days. Available early 2025.

  • Romancing SaGa 2: Revenge of the Seven: a 3D remake of Romancing SaGa 2 with new combat options that will be available on October 24.

  • Metroid Prime 4: Beyond: to close the event and after many years without knowing anything about the game, we have finally been able to see gameplay of this new installment of the Metroid saga. Available in 2025.
