Ramsay, 57, revealed that he had an accident while riding his bicycle and assured that he has “lucky to be here” and stressed the importance of wearing a helmet.
Through his Instagram account, the program host ‘Nightmare in the kitchen’ He shared a video and photographs in which he shows the injuries he suffered after having an accident on his bicycle.
As part of his message in commemoration of Father’s Day, the British chef assured that: “I have a very important message for all dads. WEAR A HELMET!”
“This week I had a very serious accident while riding my bicycle in Connecticut. “I’m fine and I didn’t break any bones or suffer any serious injuries, but I’m a little bruised looking like a purple potato.”he added.
The chef thanked the medical staff who treated him and took care of him at Memorial Hospital in New London, but he feels that the one he is most grateful to is his helmet that “saved my life”.
In the video that accompanies the message, Gordon showed the injuries he had left.
When he lifts part of his uniform you can see a large purple stain that covers much of his torso.
While showing his purples, Ramsay assured that: “I don’t care about the journey and whether it costs money. Even children, on a short trip, should take it.”
The MasterChef star added that since the accident it has been a hard week for him, but he can’t stop repeating himself and asking everyone he knows and his followers on social media to please “wear your helmet.”
