The Copa América in the United States begins tomorrow, Thursday, and expectations are increasing for the debut of the Celeste under the command of Marcelo Bielsa next Sunday at 10 p.m.
Uruguay will have its first participation facing Panama
To this day it is confirmed that the matches in Uruguay will be broadcast on the DIRECTV screen, while also on TV Ciudad over the air in Montevideo, not on TV Ciudad on cable.
Another access route to watch the Celeste will be through AUFTV streaming in which the offer is to buy the so-called “Copa América Group Pack”, which includes all the matches of Uruguay, includes several matches (not all) of the other series.
There is also the option of contracting DGO independently, which allows streaming access to DIRECTV content, beyond the conventional route.
As for the Montevideo cable operators, they are still in negotiations with DIRECTV. Those from the interior (CUTA) have already reached a contractual agreement.
Uruguay’s other two games in group C will be on Thursday, June 27 against Bolivia from 10 p.m. in New Jersey and will close against the United States on Monday, July 1 at the same time against the United States in Kansas City.
