Behind, WUS Printed Circuit Co Ltd (TW:), which gained 10.00% or 5.40 points to settle at 59.40, and Shunsin Technology Holdings Ltd (TW:), which rose 9.98% or 24.50 points, to close the market at 59.40. session at 270.00.
The worst value of the index was Primax Electronics Ltd (TW:), which fell 13.27% or 14.60 points to end at 95.40. For its part, Lead Data Inc (TW:) fell 9.85% or 0.39 points to close at 3.57, while DrayTek Corp (TW:) shed 6.29% or 3.25 points to end at 48.45.

Crude oil futures for delivery in August fell 0.01%, or 0.01, to $81.28 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil futures for delivery in August fell 0.05% or 0.04 to hit $85.67 a barrel, while Gold futures for delivery in August rose 0.34% or 8.15 to hit $85.67 a barrel. $2,377.15 per troy ounce.
USD/TWD shed 0.16% to 32.33, while TWD/CNY was flat, down 0.18% to 0.22.
The dollar index lost 0.04% to 105.18.
