This morning there was a terrible car accident at the intersection of Abancay Avenue and Nicolás de Piérola, in Cercado de Lima, which left five people injured.

National Police agents arrived at the scene and helped the injured. Likewise, they transferred the driver who caused the accident to the Cotabambas police station for legal proceedings.
In his statements to the Police, Larino Palma Valladares assured that he was distracted from the wheel because he turned to look at his dog, which he was carrying in the back seats.
For this reason, his relatives arrived at the police station to take the pet, while the driver remained detained waiting to go to the medical examiner.
