The Judicial Police have arrested a man for six crimes of robbery with force in the building on Goya Street in Valladolid that suffered a gas explosion on August 1, 2023. The arrested person carried out the robberies inside several homes of number 32 of the aforementioned street, which has been sealed off and uninhabited since August 1 of last year due to the gas explosion that occurred there.

On May 24, several of the home owners filed a theft complaint, as they found that lamps, small appliances and other items were missing from the interior of their apartments. The investigators of the Robbery Group of the Provincial Judicial Police Brigade of Valladolid, together with the Scientific Police, verified the facts and after intense and laborious investigative work, they managed to discover the identity of the author of at least six of the robberies that, finally, , was arrested on June 18.

It turns out that the detainee had been surprised on February 28 inside the building by an expert who was working there, although at that time he could only be identified since no evidence of his involvement in the crime was found. the facts as if it could be confirmed on this occasion. The detainee, after being brought to justice, has been released with charges.
