The Breeders they have shared the acoustic session Live In Big Surwhere we see them playing four songs: Divine Hammer, Do You Love Me Now, Drivin’ on 9 and invisible man.

Filmed by James Brylowski with illustrations by animator Pedro Eboli, it’s a fascinating clip, showing much more than a standard live session. Performing new arrangements of familiar songs, The Breeders find new nuances in some classic works.

The band themselves comments on Live In Big Sur: “Last fall at the Henry Miller Library in Big Sur our show was rained out. The sky cleared just as dusk fell and someone said, let’s go to the forest. So in a redwood forest we played some songs for the hermit thrushes and spotted owls. Thanks Mark Satterthwaite and the team for filming it. Look it now”.
