Biden and Trump engage in heated presidential debate – DW – 06/28/2024

The president of the United States, Joe Biden, stated this Thursday (06/27/2024) in the first presidential debate that voting for Donald Trump in the November 5 elections will be voting against democracy since the former president does not understand what it means .

“The more I learn about what he’s done, I do,” Biden said when asked if the millions of Americans who vote for Trump in November will be voting against democracy.

“This guy has no sense of what American democracy is,” insisted the president, who noted that the Republican has “many (judicial) cases on the way” and “a whole range of problems that he has to face.”

“I don’t know what the courts will do, but I do know he has a real problem,” said Biden, who said Trump “is discredited everywhere.”

Trump responded to the Democrat by saying that Biden is “not ready to be president” and that he is “the worst president of the worst presidency in the history” of the United States.

“We shouldn’t have a debate about it. There is nothing to debate,” said Trump, who attacked Biden for the state of the economy, immigration policy, international conflicts and for being “the worst president in history.”
