After the debate between Joe Biden, President of the United States who is seeking re-election, and Donald Trump, former president who is running again, concluded, CNN conducted an informal poll to find out who was the winner of the night.
A debate that was full of disqualifications and little content, according to what the media published, almost seven out of 10 respondents declared Trump the winner against Biden. 67% of those surveyed by telephone declared the former President the winner compared to 33% who did so for the current President. Percentages that changed compared to what was expected before the confrontation took place, those that considered Trump the winner with 55% and Biden with 45%
It should be noted, however, that the survey is not representative of the entire voting public and that, according to CNN, the majority of those surveyed, who totaled 565, probably have an affinity for the Republican Party.
The capabilities of the candidates
The poll also found that 57% of those who watched the debate do not trust Joe Biden’s ability to become President again, compared to 44% who distrust Trump’s ability to lead the United States again.
On the other hand, 36% say they have full confidence in Trump’s abilities and only 14% trust Biden’s.
