Arrival at rooms A Quiet Place: Day Onethe film that serves as a prequel to A Quiet Place I and II (A Quiet Place 1 and 2), was one of the most important releases in horror and suspense films, especially considering it outside the big tanks of the industry, which usually monopolize the distribution and promotion market.
It is a franchise that little by little begins to grow in its production size. What started as a small-budget independent film ended up involving studios like Paramount Pictures and a budget of $67 million.
This is of course a high risk for investors, who hope to find enthusiasm in the spectators to recover the money. And the preview day has been positive for this purpose, since it was reported that the reduced screenings of the film accumulated between 5 and 6 million dollars, thus becoming the film that accumulated the most on said day.
For reference, the first film in the series had made $4.3 million, while the second was $4.8. The cumulative total for both was $340 million for the first and $300 million for the second. Thus, it is expected that A Quiet Place: Day One can at least be close to these numbers, which would be classified as a success.
The film was directed by Michael Sarnoski (Pig), and tells the story of the arrival of extraterrestrial beings that will dominate the Earth. The protagonist is Sam, who is facing a terminal illness, and experiences the invasion while taking a tour of Manhattan.

The cast is led by Lupita Nyong’o, supported by Joseph Quinn, Alex Wolff and Djimon Hounsou. It has been released today in various places around the world such as the United States, Mexico and Spain. In Argentina, the release will be on July 4.
