MITIC and MIC invite entrepreneurs to attend a webinar with Taiwan Startup Terrace

Asunción, IP Agency.- The Ministries of Information and Communication Technologies and Industry and Commerce of Paraguay, and Taiwan Startup Terrace of Taiwan, invite entrepreneurs to participate in the event on “Opportunities for innovative Paraguayan entrepreneurships with the leading innovation and entrepreneurship platform in the modern and technological ecosystem of Taiwan.

The webinar will be held next Tuesday, July 2 at 18:00 Paraguay time (GMT -4) and Wednesday, July 3 at 06:00 Taiwan time (GMT +8), and will feature the participation of representatives from MIC, MITIC, Taiwan Startup Terrace, the Embassy of the Republic of China – Taiwan in Paraguay and the Startup Club.

The Vice Minister of MSMEs, Gustavo Giménez, expressed that taking advantage of these opportunities will not only benefit individual entrepreneurs, but will also contribute to the development of new businesses, the integration of knowledge and advanced technologies in local industries; as well as the strengthening of economic and commercial relations between Paraguay and Taiwan, he highlighted.

During the webinar, participants will be able to learn in detail about the Taiwan Startup Terrace’s “2024 Soft-Landing Program Batch 2” Call for Applications, which offers entrepreneurs the opportunity to undertake internships and temporary residencies in Taiwan, access a network of mentors, investors, and other entrepreneurs, as well as participate in acceleration programs.

The event will also see the launch of the Taiwan Golden Card, an initiative designed to connect international talents in areas such as technology, innovation and entrepreneurship.

This card offers benefits such as extended residency, access to government resources, and administrative facilities for setting up branches and operating businesses in Taiwan.
