“Chiquito” Érick Sánchez is a reinforcement for América. The Águilas made official the signing of the Mexican midfielder, who for now is concentrated with the Mexican National Team that competes in the Copa América.
A source informed CANCHA that the transaction was closed for around 8 million dollars, six and a half in capital and the remaining million and a half in the transfer of a footballer from the Águilas to Grupo Pachuca.
According to reports to CANCHA, Sánchez, who turns 25 on September 27, was earning around $600,000 a year. At América, his salary will practically double, according to the source.
“Chiquito” intended to play in European soccer, but Sevilla only offered three million dollars, not even euros, for the signing.
The deal with Feyenoord was not closed either, much less with Oviedo because the Asturian team failed in the last game for promotion.
