With the implementation of this turbocharger, plus the one that is being installed in the Salliqueló compressor plantthe first stage of the project will be completed. Its complete design provides for the total installation of three additional compressor plants, which will add a total power of 120,000 hp, to transport a maximum future flow of up to 40MMSm3/d.
How much will the GPNK carry?
The Tratayén Compression Plant is located in the heart of Vaca Muerta, in the province of Neuquén. It will allow the compression of the gas received from the TGS Gas Conditioning Plant and inject it into the Presidente Néstor Kirchner Gas Pipeline, increasing the transported volume from 11 to 16 million m3 per day.
The Salliqueló compressor plant is 51% complete and is expected to be operational on August 30. Finally, the Mercedes plant is 42% complete and is expected to be operational by September 30.
