Although we are already in the middle of summer, the weather has other ideas. Despite being in the last days of June, the weather conditions expected for this weekend and the first days of next week refer more to spring: they will be loaded with water and very bearable temperatures.
Specifically, this Saturday, June 29, a day marked by almost omnipresent rainfall is expected in Catalonia during the morning, which could include storms, hail and strong gusts of wind.
The showers will begin in the early hours of Saturday morning in the western third of Catalonia, progressively extending towards the east, with the possibility of affecting any area. These showers are expected to range in intensity from light to moderate in most areas, although they are expected to be especially heavy in the southern half during the morning.
The skies will remain partly cloudy or overcast in the Camp de Tarragona and on the central coast and pre-coast until midday. From then on, the cloudiness will be variable. In the rest of the regions, the cloudiness will increase during the morning with the formation and arrival of more clouds, although intervals of clearing are expected from mid-morning, which will move towards the east, leaving a sky with alternating clouds.
As for temperatures, there will be slight decreases in minimum temperatures, except in the southern third, where they will remain stable or may even increase. Maximum temperatures will experience a slight to moderate decrease in general, being especially noticeable in the northwest quadrant.

According to forecasts provided by Meteocat, Monday 1 July is expected to be the most adverse day of the week. The weather conditions for that day will include heavy and extensive rainfall that will affect the whole of Catalonia.
This trend, according to the information handled by the Catalan service, will subside as the hours go by. Despite this, on Tuesday there will also be heavy rain in the northern part of Catalonia.
