The argument was that “bad debate nights” are possible for any candidateand Obama stressed his confidence in Biden’s ability and experience to lead the country.

The debate, which took place on Thursday, June 27, also put Joe Biden’s mental health back in the spotlight, a recurring issue in the electoral race. Despite criticism and questions, Obama’s support highlights the importance of unity within the Democratic Party and reinforces Biden’s candidacy in a highly polarized political climate.

Obama praised Biden, describing him as “someone who tells the truth and knows right from wrong”in contrast to Trump, whom he described as “someone who lies through his teeth for his own benefit.” For Obama, Biden’s principles and integrity remain unchanged, as he stressed the importance of the upcoming elections.

Additionally, Obama took advantage of his message to share a donation link for Biden’s campaign, and highlighted the need for financial support at this crucial moment. Even though Biden, 81, has faced criticism and a questionable performance that polls have pointed to as less favorable compared to Trump, the president has not been daunted.
In response to criticism, Biden defended his legacy and his ability to lead the country for another four years. “I wouldn’t run again if I didn’t believe with all my heart and soul that I could do the job. There’s too much at stake,” Biden said at a campaign event in Raleigh, North Carolina, reaffirming his commitment and determination ahead of the November elections.
