More gas: theTrayén plant is now ready to expand transportation capacity

The Sacde company, in charge of the construction work of theTrayén Compressor Plant, reported that the work is already completed and stressed that the process was carried out within the deadlines established in the contract.

The new plant is one of those that will increase the transport capacity of the Néstor Kirchner Gas Pipeline, and according to reports, in the coming weeks Enarsa will be in charge of putting it into operation with “the start-up of the 15,000 HP turbocharger by Enarsa and its manufacturer, where the construction company will provide support” expressed Sacde.

The president of the construction company, Damián Mindlin, pointed out that this will allow around 5 million m3 of additional gas to be injected into the GNK, and that this means “a saving of up to 350 million dollars per year in replacing liquid fuels and importing LNG. “.

This work, together with the Salliqueló plant, is part of the first stage of the project, which will be accompanied by a third plant to reach a total power of 120,000 HP, which will serve to transport up to 40MMSm3/d in the future, as indicated by the company.

The start-up of the entire first stage, that is, the Salliqueló plant, which is close to completion and the Treatyén plant already ready, is estimated to be around August 30.
