Operation English Quarter tries its luck again in the prime time slot on Sundays, but the La 1 series may have a slight drawback that affects early risers.
On April 10, it premiered in The 1 Operation English Quarterthe new and ambitious series drama on the public channel made by Gonzalo Crespo Gil.
Starring, among others, Aria Bedmar, Peter Vives and Yan Tual, the series takes place at the beginning of World War II and follows the story of Lucía, a 25-year-old girl who has been hired by an English mining company to work in its offices in Huelva as secretary.

Too late? The new time slot Operation English Quarter may not convince everyone
Although the series has triumphed on social networks, in terms of audience figures it has not exactly been the greatest success for La 1, which is why the network withdrew Operation English Quarter looking for a new time slot.
The chosen time has been for prime time on Sundays and begins tonight with the broadcast of chapters 2 and 3 starting at 10:00 p.m..
Although the public channel has the advantage of (almost) not having commercial breaks, two episodes on a Sunday night can be quite a challenge for viewers who have to get up early to go to work the next day.
Of course, the series can be enjoyed on demand through RTVE Play once the episodes have been broadcast, but we already know that the networks pay more attention to the audience of their live broadcast than to streaming viewings.
