Netflix announced the premiere of the sixth and final season of Cobra Kai in three parts, beginning July 18, 2024. The acclaimed karate comedy will say goodbye to its fans with episodes that will be released on key dates, including Day on November 28, and a final date yet to be specified in 2025. This announcement is accompanied by a preview and eight images unreleased from the coming season.

The plot continues to evolve with Daniel LaRusso (Ralph Macchio) and Johnny Lawrence (William Zabka) preparing his students for the Sekai Taikai tournament in Japan.

After beating Terry Silver (Thomas Ian Griffith) and his dojo in the previous season, the rivalry flares up again with the resurrection of the Cobra Kai dojo by John Kreese (Martin Kove) and Kim Dae-uen (Alicia Hannah-Kim). The teaser and the images shared promise an intense final battle in the world of karate.

Sony Pictures confirmed that Ben Wang will lead the cast of the new installment of the franchise karate Kidwith a premiere scheduled for December 13, 2024. The upcoming film will feature previous stars of the franchise such as Jackie Chan and Ralph Macchio, marking a link between previous generations and the new era of the series. The direction will be in charge of Jonathan Entwistlewith Rob Lieber as screenwriter and Karen Rosenfelt in the production.

This new chapter will take place on the east coast of the United States and will follow a young Chinese man on his journey of personal growth and discovery through martial arts under the tutelage of an experienced mentor.
