What series to watch this week on Netflix, Disney+, HBO Max and other platforms. In recent days, some recent releases such as fallout on Prime Video they have given a lot to talk about. But there is a title that has generated a lot of noise without being so expected: My stuffed reindeer. If you haven’t seen it yet, you have the opportunity with a Netflix subscription.
Aside from the series of the moment, this second week of May comes with many interesting premieres, such as a new season of Doctor Who on Disney+, the return of Guardians of the night (Kimetsu no Yaiba) to Crunchyroll or a science fiction series, Dark matter, available on Apple TV+.
‘My stuffed reindeer’ (Netflix)
Everyone is talking about this series. It arrived on Netflix in April, but it has taken a while to become known. It is a British series created, directed and starring Richard Gadd which tells a true story that happened to him himself. It all starts when a comedian makes a kind gesture with a woman and this triggers an unhealthy obsession that threatens to destroy both their lives.
‘Doctor Who’ (Disney+)
Next May 11, a new era in Disney+ will begin Doctor Who. The fifteenth version of the scientist will be embodied by Ncuti Gatwa, while Millie Gibson will be the new Ruby Sunday. Both will travel in the Tardis through time to find incredible characters and face dangerous enemies, including what is possibly the most powerful to date.
‘Night Watch’ (Crunchyroll), S4
After the release of the third film Kimetsu no Yaiba (its name in Japanese), which served as a bridge between the third and fourth seasons, the premiere of the latter finally arrives on May 12. A new installment of the series in which we will see the arc of pillar training. Kamado Tanjiro, Nezuko and the rest of the protagonists will undergo a series of tests to strengthen and prepare for the final battle against Muzan Kibutsuji and the demons.
‘Dark Matter’ (Apple TV+)
Apple TV+ premieres on May 8 the adaptation of the novel of the same name by Blake Crouch. Tells the story of Jason (Joel Edgerton) a scientist who teaches classes and one day He is kidnapped and taken to an alternate version of his life. To return to his true family he must travel through numerous alternative dimensions and see with his own eyes the lives I could have had.
‘Pretty Little Liars: Summer School’ (HBO Max)
After the events of Original sinthe protagonists face a new fate worse than death: summer school. However, high school isn’t the only thing standing in the way of him and his new love interests. A new enemy has arrived in town and He’s going to put them all to the test. The series premiere will be this May 9 on HBO Max.
