The return of the series based on League of Legends is ‘only’ five months away
It has been a wait of almost three years, but the countdown to the premiere of the film finally begins. Arcane Season 2. The television series set in the League of Legends universe returns to Netflix next November starring in a return for which great expectations have been generated. Riot Games seems more than willing to meet the fans’ demands, although the first step will be to make the already gigantic hype surrounding the project even bigger. To do this, they have resumed a marketing campaign that had been dormant for six months and has awakened again with the publication of the first official poster for ‘Season 2’.
Riot Games warms up for the premiere of Arcane
On the different official Arcane profiles on social networks we can find a promotional image as a poster for Season 2 of the series. In it we can see how Jinx hugs Vi forming a picture that, in its composition, is very similar to that of the promotional poster for the first chapters. However, you only need to have seen the nine episodes published so far of the series to know that the message it conveys is very different. Even more so if we pay attention to the text that accompanies the publication, which says: “Nothing stays dead.”
The publication of this promotional poster breaks six months of silence from Riot Games regarding Arcane, since the League of Legends developer has not spoken about the series again since the publication of the first trailer for Season 2. It also marks the beginning of a series of events that promises to continue until the release of the new chapters. Both Fortiche (studio in charge of Arcane) and Riot Games will be present at the Annecy Festival 2024 (International Animated Film Festival) to give a talk about the ‘making of’ of the series in which they will talk about different aspects related to its development. This event will take place on June 12 at 11:30.
Arcane Season 2 will premiere on Netflix sometime next November, without the exact date or format of the premiere having been confirmed yet. It is hoped that soon we will know more about the new characters that will appear in it or we will have a new trailer. Riot Games’ calendar for the end of the year is loaded with news.
