Caracol maintained its base group of narrators and commentators, with Carlos Alberto Morales and Javier Hernández Bonnet. RCN, for its part, bet on the figure of Javier Fernández, the ‘Goal Singer’, who spent many years in the competition, alongside Carlos Antonio Vélez.
The penultimate round of the channel duel before the Cup was the friendly between Colombia and the United States, which was played this Saturday and in which the team led by Néstor Lorenzo won 1-5. The last one will be on June 15, when the National Team faces Bolivia.

Saturday’s game was, once again, favorable to Caracol. According to the National Consulting Center (CNC), the broadcast of the Colombian game on that channel was the most watched program in the country on Saturday, with a rating of 8.08.
On the other hand, RCN’s team could barely reach seventh place in tune in this Saturday’s measurement, with 3.18, barely surpassing the previous match in its competition, which scored 2.96.
