The writers’ strike, added to some creative disagreements, almost left us without the best entertainment of 2022. But series fans can rest assured, Apple TV has confirmed its return. The series in question is Separation, of course, a satire of the work environment that perfectly combines elements of titles like The Office and Black Mirror.
The story starring Adam Scott (Big Little Lies) is produced at a company called Lumon Industries, where have managed to separate work-related thoughts from the personal lives of their employees. A photograph of the same actor announces the arrival of the second season through the social networks of the famous online platform.
In it, we see the character Mark Scout with a series of blue balloons in his hand, presumably decorated with his face, as he walks through the cold halls of Lumon. “Your innie had already seen this image”, writes Apple TV next to the new frame of the series. This play on words refers to that consciousness that experiences workdays far from the rest of our lives.
Production on the second season of this science fiction began in October 2022 and, for the reasons mentioned above, has not come to an end until April 2024. Now, we know that we will be able to meet Marc (Scott), Helly (Britt Lower ) and Irving (John Turturro), although The exact date Lumon will open its doors has not yet been announced..
