In the early hours of June 28, the Dimensión Latina orchestra was in the lobby of the Ibis Budget Hotel located in the San Blas area of Madrid, ready to leave for the airport bound for Tenerife where we will begin our “Now or Never Tour” through Europe, when two men entered Taking some of our luggage. When we realized this, we ran after them, but they got into a car and ran away. Exactly, they took the passports of two of our members, cash and all the clothes of one of them.
The hotel staff acted indifferently, which raised our suspicions. Part of the orchestra had to travel, while those of us affected stayed in Madrid filing complaints and making arrangements with the Venezuelan Embassy.
We want to make an appeal to spread the word so that the passports can be recovered, which are so necessary since they allow us to travel without any problem. We ask that the guilty parties return the identity documents and leave them in the hotel lobby.
From the Dimension Latina orchestra we reject any type of violence and we urge those who can support us in the recovery of our belongings that are so necessary to continue the course of this tour so longed for by fans and us.
