Edith González’s daughter will seek to have her mother’s memory celebrated privately from now on

Five years after the death of Edith González, family and friends of the actress gathered to honor her with a mass this June 13, but the big absentee was Constanza Creel, daughter of someone who was the protagonist of successful melodramas.

For his part, Lorenzo Lazo, Edith’s widower, decided to talk to the media and revealed that, from now on, it will be Constanza who will be in charge of remembering her mother, as she considers appropriate.

“The family, in particular Constanza, has decided that this date be commemorated privately, therefore, starting this year, we have made the decision, I for one, that this private commemoration will be carried out by Constanza. , as Edith’s only heir daughter,” the economist explained to media such as the program Today.

And highlighting that the young woman already has all the power to make these types of decisions, Lorenzo stressed: “Well now Constanza, as an adult, has the responsibility and the right to remember her mother as she decides best.”

In this way, the widower of Edith González, who throughout this time has honored the memory of the interpreter, made it clear that he will no longer be in charge of holding this type of public events, with which he only wanted to remember a of the most representative figures of television in Mexico.

On different occasions, Lorenzo has shown his visits to the grave of Edith, who assumed life with the most positive attitude while facing her fight against cancer, focused on her professional projects and taking care of her daughter Constanza, who is now under the custody of his father, the politician Santiago Creel.
