Antonio López, one of the youngest and most beloved participants of the last edition of MasterChef, has seen his life transformed since his time on the reality show. Originally from Salta, Antonio made the brave decision to move to Buenos Aires with his mother with the aim of opening his own gastronomic establishment. In a recent interview with TN Show, the young chef shared the challenges and achievements that he has faced in this new stage of his life.

Antonio and his mother’s journey has not been easy. “I told her to be encouraged, to take the risk of coming and I convinced her. It is very difficult for her. There are times when she has moments of crisis and cries, but I try to distract her, help her and show her that all this is for something better,” Antonio said. . His mother has been a fundamental pillar in his life, and together they decided to leave Salta to seek new opportunities in the country’s capital.

After leaving MasterChef, Antonio embarked on the adventure of entrepreneurship in the world of gastronomy. “As soon as I left MasterChef I started my empanada business and it was doing very well. The problem was that I worked alone and couldn’t meet people’s demand,” he explained. The high demand and lack of human resources made him reconsider his approach, and thus the idea of ​​creating his own burger was born.

The young chef does not stop in his search to fulfill his dreams. Despite the challenges, Antonio remains committed to his vision of opening a gastronomic establishment that reflects his roots and his passion for northern Argentine cuisine. “I would lean a lot towards northern foods, empanadas, humita, which was the dish I showed on MasterChef. They knew me with that video and to this day some see my casting and are still excited. So I I think I’m going to go that way,” he stated with conviction.

Antonio López’s story is an inspiration for many young people who dream of making their way in the competitive world of gastronomy.
