Furthermore, among readers who are familiar with self-publishing tools and their advantages, 80% believe that they allow readers to discover new talents, according to the pollster.

Self-publishing tools are increasingly popular: artists, writers and content creators no longer necessarily have to go through a record label or publisher to have their albums produced or their books printed.
One of these tools is Kindle Direct Publishing, a platform through which writers can publish their writings on the Amazon platformretaining editorial control, copyright and receiving up to 70% of the revenue generated from sales.
Thus, the 11th edition of the Amazon Storyteller literary award seeks to reward authors in Spanish who use this publication method.

Entries may be submitted with writings of up to 24 pages in length, published before August 31.
