There is nothing that makes Argentines proud than other Argentines leaving the country in a good light. That was the case of Legion, the set of malambo that was a trend this weekend after its presentation in America’s Got Talentwhere they not only gave a show that left everyone present amazed, but also achieved direct access to the live programs.
During a new edition of the traditional talent reality show, the Legion group, made up of young Argentinians, took the stage dressed completely in black, each wearing a cockade on their chest and with a surprise on their feet. Before starting, two people approached and with a flamethrower set the boots of the group members on fire.
Before the astonished gaze of not only the jury but also the audience present, they displayed a performance full of strength, passion and a lot of Argentine malambo. After the audience’s applause, Simon Cowell, renowned jury member, mentioned: “That was epic, this is something I can really see in Las Vegas.”

Sofía Vergara, another of the jurors, said about the presentation: “I guess all the judges are fascinated by you because for them this is something very different and exciting.” “I am South American and I have seen this dance many times. For me, you guys have to do something spectacular…” she added as she was booed by the audience. However, the actress concluded: “And that was spectacular. I thought it was amazing! “I’ve never seen anything like it and that’s exactly why I’m doing this!” At that moment the Golden Buzzer pressed and the Legion company celebrated on stage.
This implies that Legion went to the semi-final stages directly, to the live programs, where, if they want to continue in the race, they will have to improve the performance whose bar they left very high.
