Daniel Bisogno announces that he will undergo a new medical procedure

The driver of “Ventaneando”, Daniel Bisognosurprised some of his followers by announcing that he will undergo a new medical procedure, this, after recovering from the health crisis he had at the beginning of the year and for which he spent 25 days in intensive care due to a lung infection. .

In the recent broadcast of the program, “El Muñeco”, as he is also known in the media, explained that he is currently preparing to rejoin “Lagunilla mi barrio”, the play in which he participated prior to his hospitalization, while he arrives his “last medical phase.”

“I’m about to reintegrate into the last procedure,” said the actor.

In this context, the presenter also mentioned that his health has improved considerably, feeling with the necessary energy to resume his artistic career and return to the stage, a goal he hopes to achieve next Friday, July 5.

“Yes, I’m going to join the work, I feel wonderfully well,” said Bisogno in the midst of his colleagues celebrating the news.

However, Daniel did not give details about when he will break his commitments again to undergo surgery.

In April, two months after his absence from the show for health reasons, Daniel explained that since May 2023 he had faced several health problems, including the rupture of varicose veins in the esophagus. By February 2024, irreversible damage to his liver was diagnosed, requiring an urgent transplant to improve his quality of life.

“When (the doctors) realize that the liver is worse, that is when they go in to see the gallbladder. “They dry up a liver biopsy and they realize… they always say that the liver regenerates, but there comes a time when it doesn’t, it becomes small and starts not working, that’s what happened to me, dear audience,” said.

Since then, the television host has been on the waiting list for the procedure at a Mexico City hospital, occupying second place after a young man who needs special organ conditions to be scheduled in the operating room.

“I joined a committee where they decide who and how, you can’t imagine the amount of tests they did on me to be a candidate for a liver transplant. The transplant thing sounds harsh, but since you experience it up close and it is explained to you, a calm comes. What happens is that once you hand in all the papers, they decide if you are a candidate,” he commented.

Doctors have advised Daniel Bisogno to gain weight in preparation for the kidney transplant, having lost weight during his stay in hospital. “I left weighing 80 and now I’m approaching 90 kilos. I’m 1.93m tall,” he previously revealed.

With his characteristic sense of humor, he commented that for the first time the specialist’s indication was: “What the recommendation has never been in my life is ‘swallow.'”

Furthermore, with a positive perspective, Bisogno shared: “The pathologist (she told me that the “transplant”) is the least dangerous of everything we have done to you.”
