These rumors intensified following a publication by a voice actor that hinted at the presence of characters not foreseen in the original chronology of the manga.

Among the characters who will make an appearance are Tanjiro Kamado, Nezuko Kamado, Zenitsu Agatsuma, Inosuke Hashibara, Muichiro Tokito, Mitsuri Kanroji, Tengen Uzui, Shinobu Kocho, Obanai Iguro, and the rest of the pillars. However, the villains of this notable series also stand out, led by the fearsome Muzan and his demonic moons, including Doma, Akaza, and Kokushibo.
In line with the manga’s timeline, it is speculated that the three demon moons should not make an appearance in this final episode; however, the confirmed participation of Kokushibo’s voice actor, Ryōtarō Okiayu, suggests otherwise. This could indicate their intervention alongside other powerful moons such as Doma and Akaza, possibly in a memory of Muzan, revealing the transformation of the new sixth pillar Kaigaku or its preparation within the Infinite Fortress, the setting of the next story arc that could unfold in the fifth season or, failing that, in future films.
