Joaquin Guzman He is the young actor who will debut in the Mega Dramatic Area to interpret Luis Emilio Echeñique in the remake of “The Lord of Love“Although this is her debut in a soap opera, she had brief appearances years ago.

The actor spoke with Fotech.cl where he revealed how he came to be part of this production and also the main difference that his character will have with the TVN version. In addition, he told us that he will be part of an important production once the filming of the production is finished.

Joaquín, how did you become part of the cast of “El Señor de la Querencia”?
They contacted me from production to do a camera test for the characters of Ignacio and Luis Emilio. After this they called me to tell me that they wanted me for the character of Luis Emlilio Echeñique. Therefore, I happily accepted to be part of the cast of the soap opera.

When you were little you had a small participation in “Chipe Libre” on Channel 13, what memories do you have of that?
The truth is that I have vague memories. The few that stayed with me were thanks to Mario Horton and Fernanda Urrejola. I had to record a scene with them and they motivated me to know that I really was where I should be.

You have worked mainly in series, what are the differences you see with working on a television series?
The differences between series and television series are notable, and are determined mainly in the way of recording, since in series and movies one has much more time in general, either for study time and character development, as well as for rehearse a certain scene, focusing on the detail.

What differences will your character have with the 2008 TVN version?
The difference is that even though the character begins with a very selfish and talkative vision, as in the previous version, breaks occur. One in particular that marks him and leads him to develop the most human and sincere side of him, with a more grounded look at the events that happen in La Querencia.

Are you a fan of soap operas? Which one do you remember watching?
I don’t consider myself a fan, since I spend my time mainly at work. In recent years I haven’t been able to watch the latest soap operas since I was filming “La Contadora de Películas” and I was studying. But one soap opera that I was very interested in and found very funny was “Papá a la Deriva”, since the cast and the filming locations bring a very beautiful story to life.

Besides “El Señor de la Querencia”, are you working on another project? Would you like to continue working in television series?
I am currently waiting for the premiere in Chile of the last film I made, “La Contadora de Movies” by Lone Scherfig. And after finishing filming “El Señor de la Querencia”, I begin filming the series “La Casa de los Espíritus”.
