The 18th season of ‘El Hormiguero’ comes to an end this Monday, July 1st when Pablo Motos and its ants can take a well-deserved summer break. Its audience will have to wait until September to enjoy one of the most watched programmes on television, which this year closed with an average share of 15.6%, the fourth best result in its history. And to end on a high note, it will bring a very special guest who has already appeared on the programme on 28 occasions: Santiago Segura.
The actor and director became an ‘Infinity’ guest in September 2020, a recognition given to those celebrities who come to the set more than 10 times. Thus, he is only surpassed by Miguel Angel Revilla which is one more than the actor, with 29 programs. A real final touch to the season where Segura will talk about the premiere of the fourth part of his film ‘Padre no hay más que uno, 4: campanas de boda’ (Father there is only one, 4: wedding bells) in which he stars alongside Toni Acosta and Loles León among others.
A whole party that Motos has prepared to also celebrate the fact that it is one of the most watched programs on all of television. It has already been the leader in its time slot for ten consecutive years and renowned figures from all fields such as Taylor Swift, Will Smith, Pedro Sánchez, David Bisbal and DJ Steve Aoki have stopped by the program to talk about their career, their decisions and their challenges. A space to hold an interview full of humor and fun that this Monday promises to be one of the best of the ‘El Hormiguero’ season.
