In a statement, Hizbullah confirmed the direct impact of the operation in response to Israeli aggressions against Lebanese localities, especially the repeated bombings against the border towns of Kfar Kila and Kfar Shuba.

In an initial statement, fighters of the Lebanese movement fired at newly established positions of enemy soldiers west of the Shomera settlement, located three kilometers from the Bustan village.
