A motorist ran over a 3-year-old boy who was running across the street. The minor was taken to Rawson Hospital with injuries of various degrees, judicial sources said.
The incident occurred around 1:25 p.m. this Saturday, in the vicinity of Brasil and Caseros, Capital.
A 24-year-old young man identified as Hugo Alejandro Nollen was driving the car, a Chevrolet Cruze. He was doing it through Brazil from West to East, when meters before reaching Caseros, the 3-year-old boy – who was walking along the South Side of Brazil along with his mother and siblings – ran across the road towards the North, being hit by the front of the vehicle guided by Nollen, who previously performed a braking maneuver.
As a result of the impact, the minor was projected towards the cardinal east, lying on the pavement. He was assisted and immediately transferred to the Rawson Hospital Emergency Room, accompanied by his mother, whose last name was Escudero (they are not residents of the area).
According to investigators, upon admission to the hospital the victim had ECT, abrasions and various traumas, and was under observation.
The vehicle involved was kidnapped. The UFI intervenes Special Crimes.
