A 16-year-old boy opened fire early Sunday morning at a party held in the city of Sanford (Florida, USA), wounding at least ten people, the Seminole County Sheriff’s Office reported.

Among the victims is Tank Dell, American football player for the Houston Texas of the National Football League (NFL).

“Upon arrival, deputies heard multiple gunshots coming from the rear of the establishment, which caused the crowd to disperse,” the Seminole County Sheriff’s Office said in its statement.
The teenager was immobilized with the help of this establishment’s security personnel who, as he later thanked, checked that all its workers were “safe.”
Regarding the player Tank Dell, the Houston Texas issued a brief statement: “He suffered a minor injury, but has been released from the hospital and is in good spirits (…) we ask that you please respect his privacy in this moment”.
