The judge, Juan M. Merchán, in charge of the criminal process that Trump is facing in New York, determined that he had violated the “gag order” by making several public statements on his social network, Truth Social, and on the website of his campaign in which he attacked witnesses participating in the trial.

Trump must remove the seven “offensive posts” from Truth Social and the two “offensive posts” from his campaign website by 2:15 p.m. local time (18:15 GMT) today.

This Tuesday began the third week of the trial against the former president and candidate for this year’s Republican presidential elections, which continues with the statements of Gary Farro, the banker who began testifying on Friday.

Farro recounted the efforts of Michael Cohen – Trump’s former lawyer and right-hand man, who is expected to be one of the prosecution’s star witnesses this week – to open a financial account that was used to pay porn actress Stormy Daniels.

Trump, who is required to attend the entire trial, appeared in court today accompanied by his son Eric Trump. The mogul faces 34 felony counts of falsifying business records in the first degree to cover up a sex scandal.
