Likewise, the choice of food influences the accumulation of this yellowish substance, highlighting foods rich in sugars and carbohydrates that promote bacterial proliferation. To prevent its formation, it is essential to properly brush your teeth and floss. Consequently, it is evident that the lack of adequate oral hygiene stands as the main cause of this problem.

Tartar usually accumulates in large quantities, causing problems such as gingivitis, periodontitis, halitosis, cavities and much more. Therefore, preventing this type of conditions is extremely important, although you need to carry out some oral hygiene health practices yourself, you have to avoid some malicious habits that can increase this situation such as alcohol and tobacco.

What is the trick to loosen tartar from teeth?

As previously noted, tartar buildup is a gradual process. Therefore, it is essential to address the first signs of tartar buildup immediately. Prevention is paramount, therefore it is crucial to brush your teeth properly twice a day, preferably after each meal, with special attention to all areas of the mouth. Additionally, the use of dental floss, an oral irrigator and mouthwash is recommended for complete oral hygiene.

If you are just accumulating tartar, you can do this trick. On the other hand, if the accumulation is more noticeable, you need to go to a professional to do a proper cleaning, which is usually painless and takes between 20 to 30 minutes.

According to Dental 2DOCE, it is feasible to reduce bacterial plaque by consuming an apple. By chewing this fruit, it is possible to clean the oral surface, while strengthening the gums.

Given the nature and properties of the apple, this fruit can eliminate food debris in small accumulations. It is advisable to consume it after meals. In the absence of an apple, oranges or lemons are also valid alternatives. Keep in mind that this technique provides partial cleaning and can be used if a toothbrush is not immediately available or if time is limited, but it is essential to follow up with adequate tooth brushing afterwards.
