Jerusalem, June 4 (EFE).- At least ten Palestinians died in Gaza City (in the north of the Strip) in the last hours after a night of Israeli bombings and raids, according to the local news agency Wafa.
The latest bombing occurred early this Tuesday against the vicinity of a refugee center in Deir al Balah, south of Gaza City, and in it “seven citizens were martyred (died) and another 20 were injured,” Wafa related.
Palestinian sources informed Efe that two airstrikes hit a car and the entrance to the shelter in Deir al Balah, and the injured were taken to the Al Aqsa hospital, near the area.
During the night, the bombings against Gaza City also caused three deaths in the Al Daraj neighborhood, in the east, after a projectile hit the residence of the Ghanem family, which was part of the Bureij refugee camp.
“Israeli planes also launched violent attacks against the Sabra and Zeitun neighborhoods in Gaza City, injuring several citizens, including children and women,” reported the Palestinian news agency.
All the injured were taken to Al Aqsa hospital.
In Deir Al Balah, where the attack took place with seven deaths, and in Khan Yunis – south of the enclave – the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) yesterday warned of a “worrying” public health situation. and that goes “beyond crisis levels”
