American passport less powerful than the Chilean one. These are the strongest passports in the world

Surprise in the world of passports! A recent study by VisaGuide has revealed that the US passport has been surpassed even by the Chilean passport in the ranking of passport power.

This unexpected result has caught the attention of many, considering the influence and flow of travel that characterize the United States.

The analysis, which evaluates and ranks passports from 199 countries and territories based on various criteria, uses a factor called Destination Significance Score (DSS) to assign a unique rating to each passport. According to this index, the Singapore passport tops the list as the most powerful in the world, followed by those of Italy, Spain, France and Hungary.

However, what is most surprising is that the most economically powerful country in the world does not have the most powerful passport in the world. It’s not even in the top 40. On the other hand, the Chilean passport, with a score of 85.27, is ranked 40th, surpassing the American one, which is ranked 42nd with a score of 84.65.

In the Latin American context, the Chilean passport leads the list as the most powerful in the region, followed by those of Argentina and Brazil in positions 47 and 48, respectively. On the other hand, the Cuban passport is in 131st place, while the Venezuelan one is in 85th. The Nicaraguan passport closes the Latin American list in 84th place, with a score of 61.96.

These results show an interesting dynamic regarding the power of passports in the region and the world, reflecting the importance of various factors in facilitating international travel.
