Actor Nick Pasqual was arrested on the border between the United States and Mexico, reported US authorities, who accuse him of having tried to stab his ex-girlfriend to death.

Pasqual allegedly broke into the victim’s house and stabbed him several times after she issued a restraining order against himaccording to the Los Angeles district attorney’s office.

Although the judicial authority did not identify her, US media reported that she is Hollywood makeup artist Allie Shehorn.

Pasqual allegedly fled the crime scene and was detained at a checkpoint in Sierra Blanca, Texas.

Pasqual has had supporting roles in films such as Rebel Moon – Part One: A Child of Fire (“Rebel Moon – Part 1: The Fire Girl”) and jobsas well as in television series such as How I Met Your Mother (“How I Met Your Mother”).

He also starred in the comedy podcast National Day Riff and the science fiction series A Demon’s Destiny: The Lone Warrior.

Fundraising for the victim

Friends describe Allie Shehorn as “compassionate and loving.”

In a statement, Los Angeles County District Attorney George Gascón assessed that this “heinous” crime was “a harsh reminder of the dangers of domestic violence”.

“My thoughts and deepest condolences are with the victim of this horrible incident,” he said.

And he noted that “our office, including the Office of Victim Services, extends our support and resources to him as he embarks on the long and difficult journey of healing from the physical and emotional trauma inflicted on him.”

“We will ensure that the individual responsible for this heinous act is held accountable for his actions,” he concluded.
