According to media reports, his swearing-in ceremony took place at the presidential residence and was attended by political leaders from India’s allied nations such as Sri Lanka, Maldives Seychelles and Bangladesh.
Cuba and India have maintained bilateral relations for 65 years, which have been described by diplomatic sources from both nations as traditionally warm, friendly and of mutual respect.
