The Israeli Army has also indicated in a statement on its website that during the last 24 hours it has bombed 45 “terrorist targets” in the enclave and has said that “more than ten terrorists” have been “eliminated” in central Gaza, including a suspect who allegedly participated in the October 7 attacks. “Among the targets attacked are military buildings, terrorist squads, rocket launchers, tunnels and other terrorist infrastructure,” he said, while confirming that the military “continues to operate in the Rafah area”, located on the border with Egypt and the scene of of an offensive since May 6. “Several terrorists have been eliminated in face-to-face confrontations,” he added.
