The movements of an alleged Colombian cryptocurrency businessman, who on social networks promotes a pompous lifestyle, between mansions and Ferraris, have security agencies concerned, since his past abounds with references to alleged crimes and multiple facades, as if he were “the man of a thousand faces.”

His name is Michael Camilo Precht Andreasen, he was born 34 years ago in Colombia, but in his childhood he emigrated to Denmark, where he obtained his second nationality. In our country he frequents the pink zones and business centers of Cartagena, Bogotá, Manizales and Medellín, looking for investors for a cryptocurrency learning center.

He recently settled in the capital of Antioquia, where his letter of introduction has been his publications on the “deluxelifecolombia” Instagram profile. There she appears wearing designer clothing, driving high-end vehicles (Ferrari and Porsche) and displaying luxury watches, under this philosophy: “Why hide your wealth? I see it as a motivational tool for others! “Fuck the haters,” as she wrote in one of her videos.

The authorities’ interest in him aroused on April 13, when they robbed him in a restaurant in El Poblado and They stole a Rolex watch valued at $40,000 ($166 million pesos).

Precht reported that they were charging him $75 million to return it, and in an operation carried out in a mall in El Poblado el Gaula he arrested two suspects in flagrante delicto. During the proceedings, Investigators also analyzed the victim’s background, uncovering a Pandora’s box.

“The Man with the Stethoscope”

Precht’s face appears in press reports from Denmark, Sweden and Norway, in which Several women accuse him of sexual abuse.

There they called him “the man with the stethoscope,” because apparently he pretended to be a doctor to inappropriately touch patients, including minors.

In Denmark he was temporarily detained in 2013. Even Interpol issued a Green Circular against himwhich is used to alert the alliance’s 196 countries about people whose behavior is potentially dangerous to public safety.

The persecution forced him to leave Europe for his native country, where he arrived in 2015 as a member of United Hatzalah, an NGO of Israeli origin that provides medical volunteer services in conflict regions of the world.

Under the shelter of this NGO, he taught courses in institutions and established relationships with different relief organizations and security agencies, such as the Bello Fire Department, the Fourth Brigade and the Antioquia Police Department, with whose officers he appears posing in several photos.

A series of photos that Precht shows off through WhatsApp chats with his acquaintances have also caught the attention of investigators, in which appears wearing a camouflage uniform and weapons for exclusive use of the Armed Forces, such as pistols and rifles, apparently during his participation in military exercises.

In 2016 he was arrested by the Police in Cartagena, suspected of being a fake doctor who abused patients, with the excuse of carrying out health brigades in poor neighborhoods.

He was detained for 24 hours, but was released because there were no formal complaints to the Prosecutor’s Office.

Despite this, he continued to make contacts with United Hatzalah credentials, until this NGO, after receiving multiple complaints, issued a statement in 2021, warning: “We have prohibited Mr. Andreasen from using the name United Hatzalah Colombia or present yourself as part or representative of our organization.”

After that public ridicule, Precht left the scene for a while and has now returned reinvented, as a cryptocurrency investor, luxury car promoter and social media “socialite.”

Pending investigations

EL COLOMBIANO had access to databases of the judicial system in Colombia, where Michael Camilo Precht Andreasen appears as an accused in 12 criminal proceedings registered between 2018 and 2022which are in the preliminary investigation stage by the Prosecutor’s Office.

In that list there is three complaints for the alleged commission of sexual harassment in Medellín and Manizales; two for fraud in Medellín and Bogotá; two for slander in Manizales and Bogotá; and one by one for theft (Bogotá), threats (Cartagena), insult (Manizales), material falsification in a public document (Medellín) and illegal constraint (Bogotá).

Likewise, a civil lawsuit appears in a Manizales court (2022), a process in which United Hatzalah was also sued.

Every time a media scandal breaks out, Precht argues that these are misunderstandings. This newspaper tried to contact him to get his opinion, but at the time of going to press we did not receive a response.

Meanwhile, some doubts remain in the air. Who really is this man, who at different stages of his life has posed as a doctor, a lifeguard, a luxury merchant and even a virtual currency businessman?

The researchers consulted are concerned about the origin of his supposed wealth, which is enough for him to boast a home in the exclusive sector of Llanogrande (Rionegro), expensive watches and cars that exceed $1,000 million pesos on the market.
