The Palestinian resistance movement Hamas on Monday condemned the burning of the building and other facilities inside the Rafah crossing by the Israeli army.

The Hamas statement described Zionist behavior as barbaric and criminalwhich requires international repudiation and the adoption of necessary measures to hold the leaders of the occupation responsible for the destruction of civilian property.

He also held the occupation responsible for the consequences of this war crime, by causing the disruption of Palestinian communication with the outside world, depriving thousands of the sick and wounded of traveling for treatment abroad, and preventing the entry of humanitarian aid.

In addition, he urged effective global action to open the crossing, facilitate the travel of Palestinians and the entry of emergency food into the sector deliberately exposed to the famine war.
