lThe White House criticized the Republicans for spreading videos that They supposedly showed the physical and mental deterioration of the American presidentJoe Biden, and said the images were cropped and manipulated in a misleading manner.
“This tells us everything we need to know about the desperation of Republicans“White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre told reporters, calling the videos “fake.”
Media such as the New York Post and an official Republican social media account shared several videos shorts in recent days in which supposedly The 81-year-old president looks erratic.

In one of them, Biden is seen apparently disoriented as he walked away from other world leaders amid a skydiving display during the G7 summit in Italy last week. In the comments, hundreds of users say that the president, questioned because of his advanced age, looks like a “robot.”
J.ean-Pierre said the images were edited misleadingly and argued that Biden separated from the group to greet the paratroopers.
“This was widely verified (…) even by conservative media“he said at a press conference. “If you play the clip a little longer you will see (…) what was happening.”
Chain NBC also debunked that claim and published images from his own cameras from another angle in which Biden was seen interacting with the paratroopers a few meters away.
In another clip Biden looks static while other world leaders who accompanied him danced during a White House event, an attitude that opponents described as a state of confusion.
“The president stood listening to the music and did not dance. Excuse me, but I didn’t know that not dancing was (…) a health problem”Jean-Pierre said about the video.
Over the weekend, the New York Post also published an excerpt showing Biden supposedly missing on stage during a fundraiser in California, and is then led out by former President Barack Obama.
Andrew Bates, another White House spokespersonsaid in X that Biden stayed for a moment to enjoy the applause of his followers. And Eric Schultz, an Obama adviser, posted a link in response to the Post article with the caption “this didn’t happen.”
