He Ireland Scholars program opens its calls for the 2025-2026 academic yearoffering the opportunity to Colombians to complete a fully funded master’s degree at a higher education institution in Ireland.
“The Ireland Scholars Program promotes gender equality, equal opportunities and welcomes diversity. “Our development policy is aligned with SDG 16 on building effective, accountable and inclusive institutions at all levels, and we are encouraging applications from the broadest possible base,” explained the Irish Aid Fellowship.
The program is inclusive and accepts applications from people with disabilities, minorities and disadvantaged groups. Furthermore, in recent years the participation of women and people with non-binary gender identities has been promoted.
The objective of the program is train leaders capable of contributing to the development of their countries of origin and establish positive relations with Ireland. “The program aims to support graduates as they return home, so that, through the skills they develop, they contribute to the development of capabilities in their countries and become the next generation of leaders in their respective fields,” added the Irish Aid Fellowship.
